this contract allows most state agencies as well as institutions of higher learning and primary and secondary schools to buy directly from hyperalert under the dir contract without requiring a complex and lengthy rfp process.

 

almost all of hyperalert�s services are available under this contract at a significant discount to normal rates.

all of hyperalert�s services are offered in its hosted environment under the software-as-a-service (�saas�) model.this means there is no equipment to buy, no technical resources required to maintain the system, automatic upgrades of new software releases, and the assurance from knowing that a dedicated team of specialists are always monitoring the system.

all customers must subscribe to the clarion notification engine as the core of the system platform.all customers are also charged a one-time implementation and set-up fee.

 

charges for clarion for non-education customers are based on the number of people working for the organization (annual subscription) plus the number of profiles actually loaded onto the system (profile subscription).charges for optional modules are based on organization size.additionally, non-education customers are charged based on the number of minutes actually used.

 

charges for clarion for education customers are based on the number of students loaded into the system.for primary and secondary school markets only, faculty and staff profiles are not charged an additional profile subscription fee.optional modules are based on the size of the institution or school.

if your organization or agency is authorized to purchase under the dir, you may submit a purchase order directly to hyperalert based on the services you would like to purchase from this list of services offered to the contact information listed.please note that some modules and fees are required, incomplete or partial purchase orders will not be accepted.please also note that the maximum payment term for purchase orders under this contract is net 30 and that all charges are annual charges except for phone minute charges for non-education customers, which are monthly charges based on actual usage.if phone notification is required, provision should be made in the purchase order for payment of these charges.

the go direct program allows customers to purchase items directly from a dir-contracted vendor. customers contact the vendor for product and pricing information. they also send their purchase orders, with the dir contract number, and payments directly to the go direct vendor, not to dir. this streamlines the order process so customers receive their products/services quickly.
